Homemade Rice
Krispie Squares. Everyone loves rice krispie squares and they're
so easy to make! Also try the chocolate rice krispie squares.

Rice Krispies Squares
|

|
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 pkg. (250 g) marshmallows
1/2 tsp. vanilla
6 cups Rice Krispies
Melt butter in a large saucepan. Add marshmallows and cook over
low heat. Stir until marshmallows are melted and mixture is
blended. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla. Add rice
krispies and stir until coated. Press mixture into a buttered
13" X 9" pan. Cool, then cut into squares.

Chocolate Rice Krispie Squares
|

|
3 cups Rice Krispies
1/4 cup cocoa
3 tbsp. butter or margarine
1/4 cup corn syrup
1/4 cup sugar
Melt butter in a large saucepan. Add corn syrup, sugar and
cocoa. Stir over a low heat until it comes to a boil. Remove
from heat. Stir in Rice Krispies. Press into a square pan and
cool. |
