Asiago Cheese Bread Recipe
71/2 cups bread flour
2 envelopes active dry yeast
3 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
2 1/2 cups milk
2 1/2 cups shredded Asiago cheese
2 large egg
Mix together the flour, yeast, salt and pepper. At the same time heat the milk and butter. Mix these 2 combinations together. Add the cheese. Knead the dough for 10 minutes or so. Put the dough into a greased bowl and cover it with a towel. Let it rise till it is the twice the volume. Punch the dough down and split into 2 and place into 2 different pans. Let the dough rise again covered till it is double in volume. Smear the eggs on top of the breadand sprinkle cheese on top and bake at 425 degrees. Bake for about 35 minutes. You should have 2 tasty loaves of asiago cheese bread.
