2 lbs. lean ground beef
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 1/2 cup fresh bread crumbs
1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
1 large egg
1/3 tsp. garlic powder
1/3 tsp. onion powder
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 med. green pepper, chopped
Sauce:
1/2 cup water
3 tbsp. vinegar
3 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. prepared mustard
1 1/2 cup tomato sauce
2 tbsp. butter
Directions:
Preheat Oven to 350�F.
Combine the beef, bread crumbs, onion, tomato sauce, egg,
seasonings and green pepper. Mix well and press into loaf pan.
Combine sauce ingredients. Cook in a pan until butter melts.
Pour sauce over meatloaf and bake for about 1 hour. Periodically
spoon sauce over loaf while baking.
