1 lb. lean ground beef
2 cups tomato sauce
1 egg
2/3 cup onion
3/4 cup bread crumbs
1/2 tsp. oregano
salt and pepper
2 cups shredded cheese (either Cheddar or mozzarella)
Directions:
Preheat Oven to 350�F.
Combine the beef, 1/2 cup tomato sauce, egg,
onion, crumbs and spices. Mix well and press into a rectangle 7"
X 12" and sprinkle cheese over meat. Roll and put into a pan.
Bake for 1 hour. Drain fat, pour leftover sauce over loaf and
bake for 15 minutes more.
