Pork Ribs
Description
Pork Ribs:
3 pounds lean country style pork ribs, cut in serving pieces
2 teaspoons salt, divided
1/2 teaspoon pepper, divided
6 medium onions, cut crosswise in thirds
2 medium apples, cored and cut in wedges
2 teaspoons brown sugar
6 medium potatoes
1 1/4 cups water
1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
Sprinkle both sides of ribs with salt and pepper. Place in Dutch oven. Add onions sprinkle with salt and pepper. Add apples, sprinkle with sugar. Add potatoes, sprinkle with salt and pepper. Add water and worchestershire. Bring slowly to boil. cover then simmer 2 to 2.5 hours or until ribs are tender. Makes about 6 servings.
