Lasagna
Description
Lasagna:
Meat Sauce:
2 lbs ground beef (make sure the grease is drained)
2 cloves of garlic minced
1/2 cup of chopped onion
Cook above ingredients together and add
1 – 8 oz can of tomato paste
1 large can stewed tomatoes
1.5 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 tsp oregano
Cook slowly for one hour. cook 8 oz lasagna noodles – do not overcook.
In a pan arange layers of noodles, meatsauce, and cheese.
Ricotta cheese – 1/2 pound for 1/2 pound mashed cottage cheese mixed with 1 beaten egg, salt and pepper, and mozzarela cheese (1/2 pound slices). Make 2 or 3 layers.
Bake at 375 for 1/2 hour.
