Chili

Description

Chili:

4 lbs ground beef
1 large onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 tsp oregano
2 tsp cumin
2 tbsp chili powder
1 1/2 cups canned tomatoes
2 to 6 dashes tabasco sacue.
salt to taste
2 cups water

Place meat, onion and garlic in large heavy bottomed pot and cook over medium heat until meat is brown.  Add remaining ingredients.  Bring to a boil.  Lower heat and simmer about one hour or until meat is tender.  Skim off any fat.

Serve over rice, with cooked beans or for a Mexican touch, serve with corn chips.
