Favorite Meatloaf:

 

1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
1/2 pound ground sausage
1/3−1/2 package seasoned bread crumbs
1−2 eggs
1−2 tablespoon milk
1/4 cup ketchup
1 finely chopped onion
1/2 finely chopped green pepper
1 clove garlic, pressed and finely chopped
1−2 tablespoons steak sauce
1−2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1−2 cups grated cheddar cheese
4−6 slices uncooked bacon

Mix everything together (except the bacon) until uniformly blended. Shape into a loaf and place in a large loaf pan or baking dish. Lay the bacon side by side lengthwise on top of the meatloaf. Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 350F for 1 hour. Then uncover and bake an additional half hour.
