Preheat oven to 350°F. Cream butter and sugar together until light. Add egg, vanilla and milk; beat thoroughly. Mix flour, salt and baking powder together. Add to creamed mixture and blend well. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheet, about 1 in. apart. Bake 8 - 10 minutes, until golden. |
