Melt-In-Your-Mouth Chocolate Chip Cookies
2¼ cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 cup butter or margarine, softened
¾ cup granulated sugar
¾ cup light brown sugar (firmly packed)
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 375°F.
Stir together flour, soda and salt in a small bowl. In another bowl
and using an electric mixer, combine butter and sugars until light and
fluffy. Add vanilla. Beat in eggs one at a time. Blend in flour
mixture. Stir in chocolate chips.
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet, about 2 in.
apart. Bake 8 - 10 minutes, until golden. Cool on cookie sheet for
about 1 minute, then transfer to racks. |
